The chalet comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests across its four tranquil and beautifully appointed bedrooms.
On the top floor there are two bedrooms with south facing balcony and a shared bathroom. The other two bedrooms are located on the ground floor with an additional shared shower room.
All beds will be made on your arrival with towels and Molton Brown toiletries.

Petit Soleil is one of the highest chalets in the valley with amazing views over the village and Mont du Grange nature reserve.
There is a wrap around balcony and small covered terrace to watch the sun dip below the mountains while enjoying a glass of bubbles after a day on the slopes. If it’s a bit chilly outside there are several deep comfy sofas in front of the open fire to relax and share the days stories.

Petit Soleil is available to book on a self-catered basis. The modern and stylish kitchen is small but fully equipped and we’ll be happy to arrange a grocery delivery for your arrival, or why not take advantage of our flexible evening meal delivery service.
The elegant dining table is located in the open plan living area, seats eight guests and is certainly the heart of the home and the perfect setting to enjoy a gorgeous meal and evening with friends.

The chalet is only a short drive from the centre of Chatel with its many restaurants serving delicious local specialities.

Petit Soleil is the ideal base for those seeking to explore the enchanting town of Chatel and the surrounding slopes.

The nearest ski lift is the Barbossine chair, which offers access to Super Chatel in one direction and links to Switzerland via Torgon or Chaletneuf (don’t miss the views of Mont Blanc from the top of here!). From Super Chatel you can easily link to the rest of the Chatel and Portes du Soleil ski domains. There’s a different ski adventure to enjoy every day!

If you are not familiar with Chatel it is an old farming town rather than a purpose built ski resort so there are no real ski-in / ski-out chalets and the resort is quite linear. There is a free bus service which runs around the town but we recommend having a car in resort if staying with us on a self-catered basis. Most of the ski school are based from Pre la Joux which is located about 3km outside of the village at the head of the valley. This is a great starting point and where most of the ski schools are based. There is an array of skiing for all abilities, easy access to the other resorts in the PDS and lots of restaurants at the top of the chairlift.

There is parking for two cars at the chalet but please note the chalet is accessed by an external staircase with 80 steps so is a bit of a climb.
