Alchimie offers plenty of cozy spaces to unwind after a day on the slopes. Kick back with a movie on the TV, savour a glass of wine on the balcony, or simply take in the breathtaking views. For a relaxing spa day, the nearby Forme d’O leisure center features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a steam room, and a hot tub, providing the perfect complement to your mountain retreat.

Alchimie features a spacious, modern open-plan kitchen with a breakfast bar, creating a lively and social setting for cooking and enjoying evenings with family and friends. The beautiful wooden dining table, paired with leather chairs, sits by the French windows, offering the perfect spot to take in the stunning views at any meal.

Châtel, a charming alpine town with deep farming roots, is home to over 60 working farms. On Wednesday mornings, the village market offers a wonderful opportunity to explore local produce, including artisan cheeses and charcuterie. For added convenience, we also provide a stocked fridge service and evening meal delivery, ensuring your stay is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

Chatel sits in the heart of the World’s largest ski area with amazing skiing for all abilities. Super Chatel offers an array of green and blue runs zig-zagging through the trees in France and Switzerland. In the other direction Linga and Pre la Joux provides a nice mix of skiing for all abilities and some more challenging terrain for advanced skiers and off piste experts.

Alchimie is located directly behind the Petit Chatel chairlift which provides easy access to the Torgan and Super Chatel ski areas. This is an older chairlift but does access some of the most beautiful and quiter slopes of the Portes du Soleil. Please note the area is not ideal for beginners and there is no return ski slope but is possible to descend on the chairlift.

There is parking at the chalet for 2 vehicles if you are staying in resort with a car and wish to drive to Linga or Pre la Joux.
It is also possible to stroll down into Chatel village centre in approx 10 minutes.
