Chalet T'Laer is a beautifully renovated chalet in the heart of Chatel. The property is located only 500m to the village center with an easy walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. The chalet is split into two apartments with their own unique style and charm. T'Laer 3 is the ground floor apartment with three bedrooms, open plan living space and large flat garden.
T’Laer 3 is a stunning three bedroom apartment located in Chatel, in the heart of the Portes du Soleil – The Worlds largest ski area. The property makes an ideal holiday home for a family or group of friends with large open plan living and dining space and modern kitchen. The chalet has been carefully designed with a perfect balance of materials and colours to create a warm and welcoming property with a real ‘wow’ factor. Natural stone, local wood, fur rugs and soft colours are all enhanced by the natural light from the floor to ceiling windows which captures one of the best views in the valley.
The living space in T’Laer 3 is centered around the beautiful log burner and the stylish leather sofas are comfy and relaxing to enjoy an evening with family and friends around the fire.
The room is open plan with stunning French windows and amazing views of the Abondance valley and Mont du Grange Nature reserve.
T’Laer 3 has three good sized bedrooms as follows.
Bedroom 1 – Twin with ensuite bathroom
Bedroom 2 – Twin
Bedroom 3 – L-shaped bunk bed
All the beds will be made on your arrival and you will also be provided with towels and Molton Brown toiletries.
Bedroom 2 and 3 share a bathroom.
Amazing panoramic views of mountains and pine trees combine perfectly with the chalets natural tones to create a calm and relaxing space to enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fire with friends, fun and laughter.
The Forme D’O leisure centre is a short walk (10 – 15 minutes) from the chalet and offers indoor / outdoor swimming pools, steam room and hot-tub if you would like a spa day during your stay.
The kitchen in T’Laer 3 is modern and spacious with all the equipment you will need during your stay. A nice 6 person wooden table takes center stage and also benefits from the chalets amazing views.
Chatel is an old farming town and still has over 60 active farms in the valley. There is a market in the village on Wednesday mornings and plenty of shops to buy some local cheese and charcuterie. We can also offer a stocked fridge service and evening meal delivery service.
Chatel sits in the heart of the World’s largest ski area with amazing skiing for all abilities. Super Chatel offers an array of green and blue runs zig-zagging through the trees in France and Switzerland. In the other direction Linga and Pre la Joux provides a nice mix of skiing for all abilities and some more challenging terrain for advanced skiers and off piste experts.
T’Laer is located between the Super Chatel telecabine and lifts at Lac de Vonnes. It is 800m in each direction and there is a free bus service which stops outside the chalet.
There is parking at the chalet for 1 vehicle if you are staying in resort with a car and wish to drive to Linga or Pre la Joux.
The chalet also features a large shared boot room with boot warmers so there is plenty of space to get changed and store your ski equipment.
It is also possible to stroll down into Chatel village centre in approx 10 minutes.
