It’s been a great UK summer – but as September looms, the schools go back and a chill returns to the air, our minds turn to the winter…
Far from the winter blues though, it’s the perfect time to start dreaming of crisp white snow, blue skies, zooming down well groomed pistes and enjoying a vin chaud and a Fondue for lunch.. that’s right – it’s time to book your ski holiday!
So, let’s start with dates – and what could be more magical than spending Christmas in the mountains! It’s a great time to ski – with quiet slopes, virgin snow and all the festivities both in the village and in your chalet. La Folie is a beautiful converted farmhouse sleeping up to 8 guests in complete alpine luxury, and is available from 20th – 27th December on a fully catered basis, which includes private airport transfers, champagne reception, gourmet catering & open bar, chauffeur, concierge, and a magnificent Christmas Day feast. Imagine…no washing up on Christmas Day.. heaven!
If you’re tied to school holidays, we also have availability at Easter at both Chaletneuf du Tenne and La Folie. Easter is a fantastic time to come skiing, with brilliant snow cover and plenty of sunshine making the conditions a bit easier on any little ones in your group. In past years, our Easter guests have been amazed that they can powder ski in the mornings and sunbathe on the terrace in the afternoons! These Easter weeks will certainly sell soon so please contact us if you’d like any further information.
For those with more flexibility on dates, we have some fantastic offers on whole chalet bookings in January, FREE ski lessons at Chalet L’Hermitage, and individual rooms available at Chaletneuf du Tenne from 25th January – 1st February, and also 15th – 22nd March. This is a great opportunity to come and experience some true NINE & TENNE luxury, without having to get a big group together.
… work has begun on planning our scrumptious chalet menu, and next will be wine tasting – which is a tough job, but essential in order to provide the highest quality tipples for our guests this winter.
We’ve also employed a lovely chalet girl for Chaletneuf du Tenne to look after your every need during your stay. Ciana has skied in Chatel since a child and has just completed an Art Foundation Course. We’re looking forward to welcoming her to our team in December!
